MuffleTimber | Acoustic Slat Wood Wall Panel - Ebony (Black Felt)

Adding an internal timber wall has never been simpler with MuffleTimber’s quick and easy installation method that requires no heavy-duty tools and can be completed whether you have DIY experience or not.

Along with the aesthetic these timber panels provide, they also offer a level of sound absorption that helps create quieter spaces and better acoustic environments. Behind the timber slats is a sound absorbing felt that will reduce reverberation and help prevent excessive background noise from building up. This gives you an internal timber wall that is practical as well as aesthetic.

Materials

Our timber panels are of high-quality and contain no harmful chemicals or materials.

The base of the product features a 9mm thick grey polyester material partly made from recycled bottles. This felt backing is certified in accordance with Global Recycle Standards and is free of substances that are harmful to health - such as formaldehyde and pentachlorophenol.

Dimensions (mm): 2400 x 600 x 22

The timber panels are 12mm thick and made from MDF / Plywood strips that are finished with veneer. The slats are 2400mm high x 27mm wide and 13mm apart.

If required, our acoustic timber panels can be trimmed to size using a saw if the wall/ceiling is less than 2400mm.

The maximum tolerance in the panel dimensions is +/- 1 mm.

Installation

MuffleTimber can be installed with screws or applied with adhesive to offer a fast and simple installation process. For installations aiming to align slats end-to-end seamlessly, we highly recommend maintaining a 3-5mm shadow gap, whether for walls or ceilings.
