The specially designed polyester felt is the essence of these fire-resistant acoustic panels, meeting the strictest of requirements according to current EU standards EN 13823 / Class B.

Materials

The Veneer - The surface of the slat is the final finish that defines these acoustic panels, contributes to both matching and creating contrast with the rest of the interior.

The Slat - These are produced from birch plywood. The more angle s sound has to pass through, the more it is reduced. The structure and placement of the slat on the board helps to break the sound waves before they hit the board, which further enhances the sound reduction.

The Felt - Sound moves in waves and is reflected back into the room when it hits hard surfaces. By using a soft felt, the sound passes through the felt and the sound is absorbed, thus reducing the echo in the room.

Dimensions (mm)

The timber slats consist of 12 mm thick Plywood strips which are finished with 0.5 mm veneer, mounted upon 9mm felt backing. Theses slats are either 2480 or 3000 mm long, 600 mm wide, with either a width of 31 mm and a gap of 14.2 mm or a width of 40 mm and a gap of 10 mm between slats.

The maximum tolerance in the panel dimensions is +/- 1 mm.

Installation

Our acoustic wooden panels can be installed using a strong, quality adhesive glue or can be screwed into the wall or ceiling. This makes installation fast and easy. For installations aiming to align slats end-to-end seamlessly, we highly recommend maintaining a 3-5mm shadow gap, whether for walls or ceilings.

Insulation can be used to improve the acoustic performance of your acoustic timber panel.
